I initially went to Cairns in search of winter wind for testing gear and hopefully making a new kite video... That idea got turned upside down when I went kiting a few times and realised that the wind was totally cooked.
It was so gusty most of the time that it made doing tricks behind the kite about as easy as wakeboarding behind a boat with the driver having a seizure at the wheel.
My saviour came in the form of the Cable Ski Cairns. Initially I was just stoked to get out there and hit all the new obstacles. Local operators James Boggia and Sam Gunn were dead set legends and gave me all the tips I wanted and after a while I started to work it out. Thanks for all the help guys and thanks to Cable Ski Cairns for the great prices and fun times! Check em out!
Thanks to Will Smallcombe for filming and also letting me come and stay at his place! I had a sick trip and can't thank you enough, cheers man!
