There is something pretty awesome about the sport of kiteboarding. Obviously I (and probably anyone reading this) am pretty biased - but the freedom, adrenalin rush and borderless possibilities it offers are pretty exciting. Almost anyone can easily get something from this sport. I do, however, find that people question the focus of a magazine on a narrow part of such a wide ranging sport (the forefront). No-one is trying to tell anyone how to ride and conduct themselves, but it is our job to expose those who are pushing the envelope, rather than staying well within their own comfort zone. For example, you will not buy a surfing magazine to see a shot of old mate on an 8 foot mini mal badly surfing a gentle 2 foot wave because, even though the vast majority of people surf way closer to this than they do to Kelly Slater, it is obviously expected that a magazine will seek and publish the best, hardest and most innovative riding possible. The front end of a sport will never be the way the majority actually ride because funnily enough, it is difficult, but it is what we will seek, push and promote vigorously. tjek de link
