Day two of the Rendez-Vous Aventure “Coup de Monde PKRA de Kiteboarding 2005†got off to a promising start. The school bus shuttle, pretty appropriate considering the age of most of the riders, pulled up to the beach at 9:30am. The competitors were excited to see white caps on the water and the flags briskly blowing in a side off shore breeze. The wind was fairly good, averaging about 15 knots, and after the skippers meeting, the 30 male and 8 female competitors started gearing up to get on the water...
