September rocked into the Outer Banks this week with a strong northeast push. So far, four solid days of Northeast winds have pumped on the Outer Banks with great sessions to be had on the sound and ocean sides of the island !
Just in time for a packed Labor Day weekend, the northeast breeze filled in up and down the coast on Saturday. Sessions were had all over the island sound and ocean side. Kite Point (KP) was going off all weekend with visiting and local riders taking advantage of the excellent conditions. Kites at KP on Saturday ranged from 9m-13m. Kites on Sunday at KP ranged from 7-9m . Monday seemed a little windier with kites again at KP hovering around the 7-9m range.
