In our experience, women learn to kiteboard differently than men. Consequently, we have developed the REAL Riding Girls Kite Camp, which aims to teach women to kiteboard at a comfortable pace and with an emphasis on the fundamentals of the sport. We strive to make the learning experience fun by creating a non-competitive and friendly atmosphere where active women can meet one another and share stories about their kiteboarding experiences.

Whether you have never tried kiteboarding before, but have dreamed of learning it, or you already have the kiteboarding basics down and want to improve your skills, REAL"s team of women kiteboarding coaches will understand your needs, helping you reach your goals by comfortably pushing your limits to get your kiting to the next level.


3 Days of FUN !
The REAL Riding Girls Kite Camp will run for three consecutive fun-filled days. We will begin at the beach, where you will be taught kite safety and responsibility, wind knowledge and water etiquette. After that, we will hit the water, where our instructors always will be by your side using our “On the Fly” PWC support until you stand up on the board for the first time.

You Can Do It !

Students will leave REAL as competent, self-sufficient kiteboarders. The topics covered during the REAL Riding Girls Camp include kite handling on land, kite handling on the water, developing boardskills, putting the kite and the board together, and the basic knowledge needed to become a safe and proficient kiteboarder. Camps are taught from our REAL Lesson Center, in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. This private facility keeps crowds to a minimum and fun peaked at the max ! Exclusive terrain right at our doorstep allows you to experience the shallow waters (waist deep to the horizon !) , consistent breezes and unbelievable riding that has led Cape Hatteras to be known as the leading kiteboarding destination in the world.

Once you kite with the girls, you will understand why it is such a different experience. There will be after-camp sessions that will be filled with cheering and laughter. You can try funny moves without worrying about how you look. After our session, we will pack it up, wind down over sunset refreshments, then head south to Hodad"s Restaurant for a night of fun, swapping stories about our time on the water. Kiteboarding with other women is not only about pushing one other on the water, but also socializing and having a good time together off the water.

This camp is geared specifically for women who want to learn in the company of other women. The REAL Riding Girls Camp also incorporates several off-the-water activities, including fitness, yoga and a group dinner, designed to foster a strong, healthy and stoked community of women kiteboarders.
