Having only started kiting at 11, some would consider Luke to be a late starter, but that never stopped him as he rode day in and day out in some of the most diverse conditions.
Fast forward to 2011, and Luke had signed a contract with Roberto Ricci to ride internationally in the wave riding category, but coming from Cape Town, where you have to be able to do everything in every condition, he finds himself free-styling quite often, and wave riding even more.
2012 saw Luke place 4th in the Mauritius leg of the World Tour for wave riding, and he completed the season in 7th position overall.
Luke has been fortunate enough to have been a part of Red Bull King of the Air since its rebirth, and is super stoked to part of it again this year.

Zo dan was ik zeker een bejaarde dat ik begon?! (vermoed een tiepvautje)
Djee had een 3 sterren sessie in Bloemendaal met maar liefst 22 - 34 knots op zijn Ozone Reo (2016)
