In exactly two months from today, at April 9th 2006, the finals of the
snowkiting worldchampionship in Vadsø will take place.
This beautiful spot in the arctic hemisphere is this years most exotic
event.
Far beyond the borderline of the polarcircle, the city of Vadsø is
populated with openhearted and friendly people, welcomingsnowkiters from
all over the world.
The whole city is involved in helping out, pulling of this fantastic
event, and will make sure that all who desires will have a chance to go on
a king crab safari, ride snowmobiles or dogsleds in the snow, or have a
refreshment in the ice-igloo in the centre of town.
You may also experience the competition overlooking the city and have a
warm meal in the native sami tents, and probably spot quite a lot of
reindeeers during your stay.
