We had some other people ride the 12m Caution Answer this afternoon. Winds went from around 12kt and picked up to around 20 at the end of the session. Here"s the basis of their impressions after 1 session on the kite.

Linda, rides a Nova and has tried Switchblade, Sonic, TD and Crossbow. She said the turning was super fast and that the Answer rockets upwind. She said it "felt" like a cross between a bow and a C as there was good "feeling" on the bar.

She would have liked the de power line to be longer as she is used to the Nova setup.
All in all, came back in smiling and sure stayed out long enough :-) Had some nice floaty jumps too.

Mark rides a Crossbow and has tried a Swithblade and Nova. Also commented on how fast the Answer is. Really liked that aspect. He found upwind to be super easy too. He felt the bar pressure was less than Crossbow 9. He liked the kite and is keen to check out the 16 when they arrive.

He did say that he still enjoyed the more "instant" depower of his Crossbow.

The wind really never got to a stage to test the upper wind limit of the kite at all. I had another session after everone else, and I"m really starting to get dialed in with the kite. had some respectble jumps and nice waves.
Hopefully tomorrow is THE day as there is a nice 25+ SW forecast. Hold thumbs.
