Gaastra MAX
The new Gaastra kite sends out a clear message! Gaastra wants back onto the kite market. The kite was developed as a hybrid, just like the Vegas06 or Tribal and is characterised by very balanced performance with super pleasant handling! The depower ability is enormous combined with enough full and super lift/hangtime. The Kite turns fast, has very small turns/loops and develops power through the whole loop. Wakestyler and Kiteloopers will love this kite!

In addition, the upwind performance leaves nothing to be desired, due to the slats at the front tube the kite has a very rigid profile and therefore goes far into the windows edge. Light stop-, steering and power forces and a good response at the bar. Thanks to the fifth line relaunching is no problem!

The bar was revised and has no double rope-ends for the depower and the 5th line can be trimmed/adjusted! The build of the kite is great as well. A great materialmix and finishing. With the design some new paths were taken and the MAX certainly doesnt have to hide itself.!

All in all a very successful kite with which both the beginners, intermediates or wakestylers will have alot of fun!


Gaastra SPYDER
The bow trend didn't go unnoticed by Gaastra either! The designers however turned things up another notch. The SPYDER works like a bowkite at first sight. At closer inspection however some clear differences can be noticed immediately. The SPYDER doesnt have guide rollers anymore, not at the kite nor at the bar which results in the kite being more direct and the bar/power/steering forces reduced significantly. The enormous depower can be achieved by the adjusters! The slats on the front tube give the SPYDER next to the bridles an even more rigid profile. Thus the kite flies very stable and far to the windows edge!

The kite has a balanced turning behavior and a constant force development in combination with very pleasant handling! Relaunching is a breeze; pull the steering line and it's back in the air. The SPYDER has gotten a new bar as well which is very functional and makes a good impression! As with the new MAX alot of effort has been put into the materialmix and finishing.!

The SPYDER is aimed at beginners or intermediates who are looking for a balanced quality Kite which offers a very reasonable price performance ratio!
