The 2006 Shockwave comes with the bar set-up as 2:1 standard (Pulley bar). The kite was developed for precise control and feeling for the ultimate wave riding machine and for the ability to kill power without compromising arm travel.
The following will take you through the simple steps to change your bar for 1:1 or 2:1 configuration which allows you to get the best of both worlds.
Step 1
The first step is to remove the Back Bridal Line from the kite’s rear attachment point on the wing tips. This is done by removing the bridal line from the backline attachment point. Once you have undone this, (make sure that you keep the bridal clear and untangled) remove the back bridal line from the kite and reattach the other end back to the Backline attachment point.
