Hi all,

For my last holidays as a student, together with my girlfriend Camille Dumas, we chose to visit Rhodos this time rather than Paros or Naxos which are islands we already know well!

Its pretty convenient to get there as there is a direct Rayanair flight from Belgium! 2 weeks was enough to get a good glimpse of what this place has to offer:

Waves (2-3m when 30 knots) in one side and in the other side a perfect flat spot with offshore winds and crystal blue water. The wind is usually strong during summer (20-30 knots), I would recommend a 7 or 9m to do some freestyle. Note that the wind at the speed spot is more gusty and stronger. We never had a single day with 0 wind, its blowing all the time!

Thanks to the drone footage, you will get a nice global view of the place and so easily understand how the spot works (kite zone, windsurfing zone bla bla bla...). We stayed at the light house 1 hotel, which has great rooms with tvs and all you need. Its right on the beach + you have some grass to shower equipment etc. Its a semi pension deal and food is quite good! I really enjoyed the waiters that are local people working there since the beginning, interesting and funny (as well as the polish people and parties, obviously)
