The last tour stop and official German championship, the Kitesurf-Trophy, was held in Saint Peter Ording. At the competition day the wind was blowing up to 25 knots with choppy onshore conditions.
Sebastian Bubmann started for FLYSURFER with his PSYCHO 3. Sebastian used his whole summer holiday for training and that should pay off during the Kitesurf-Trophy.
He showed his very good riding level and passed through the field of German top riders and PKRA riders without any problems right into the final heat.

The men’s final was quite spectacular. High tide, winds around 16 knots and lots of spectators on the beach. Sebastian and Mario Rodwald (5 th PKRA Saint Peter Ording/ boardercross) showed their skills and gave each other a run for their money. Mario started his heat quite far away of the shore in order to have lots of space for his moves. Sebastian instead stayed close to the shore and everybody asked himself how he intended to go big in the heat. Both of them showed peak performance. Mario tried out some big moves but missed some of the landings. Sebastian attracted attention with his confident riding style and his fluent heat. He also showed of course some huge moves and at the end of the heat he nailed a perfect double S-bend to blind and grabbed KGB to counter Mario’s kiteloop slim chance.
Finally he won with a narrow 3:2 decision.
“Today was my day and I was very lucky being able to land all jumps perfectlyâ€
Sebastian said after the event.
FLYSURFER is very proud to support Sebastian with PSYCHO 3 kites and the Flyboards by SPLEENE.
