Invitational
The Jägermeister Wave Riderz is a unique combination of a windsurf and kiteboard contest and a trip. On the 25th of October a bunch of top riders leave the harbour of Harlingen with a classic sailing boat to head to the island of Vlieland. This boat is also their hotel during the trip. On the island of Vlieland we have local transportation that brings us to the location with the best conditions of the day. Of course together with the photo- and filmcrew that will join the trip.
Vlieland is a very special location. It is a small island where it is not allowed to drive a car there unless you are a local. Vlieland is known for the beautifull nature, but Vlieland is also special because of the nice wave conditions and the fact that it normally has a more wind then elsewhere in the country.
Of course the social part will not be forgotten. Ask the people tat have been there before and you know that it will go off in the evenings.

Hoe dit tot stand is gekomen mag joost weten maar ik vind t gezellig:) Overigens gaat er ook een club windsurfers mee dus tis beetje surfers united. 
Staan idd over het algemeen freestyle namen bij. Terwijl ik heel wat namen op kan noemen die met waveriden bezig zijn.

cees had een 5 sterren sessie in Kijkduin met maar liefst 20 - 30 knots op zijn Gaastra Jekyll (2010)
wazzaah had een 5 sterren sessie in Terschelling Groene Strand met maar liefst 10 - 11 knots op zijn Vari Condor (2013)
helaas kan ik er niet bij zijn bij de geweldige jagermeister action... ik zit momenteel in zuid afrika en heb komend weekeind mijn eigen wave action, de voorpellingen zijn goed, 20-30 knopen met golven tussen de 5 en 8 meter! dus ik vermaak me prima, maak jullie allemaal in volgend jaar :)

Pepster zit als betalende verstekeling op de persboot
Ben benieuwd of dat freestyle grut een beetje surf-genen in zich heeft
Verder moet ik me ook vooral voorbereiden op hard feesten of niet?
