It would be an understatement to say that Airtool is “stoked†with our latest innovation, the Flexlite. Though the company’s constant process of R&D, the Airtool Flexlite is once again proof that we are on the forefront of kiteboard shape and flex innovation and manufacturing techniques.
The new board offers a rail only 2.5mm thick allowing the board to slice effortlessly through the chop, and the reduced drag, even in the glassiest of water is hugely noticeable. The flex on this board is however the most noticeable and unique feature. With the use of a dual foam system we have been able to really focus the flex ON the tips as opposed to a progressive flex toward the tip.
The result is a surprisingly smooth ride on very choppy water and due the increase in the rocker line under heavy load or hard turns, the board seems to bite harder the more it is pushed. Of course this high performance package wouldn’t be complete without being super light as well, a 128 by 37.5wide weighing in at 1.9kgs -
The snowboard type construction features die-sublimated top deck and base laminates (no stickers or paint!), Corecell A600 foam from Canada. Layered up with twill weave glass and capped with our durable ABS rail, the result is a finely finished quality product.
