Kiteboarding Product Designer/Engineer
Naish International is looking for : a motivated Product Designer/Engineer to join our Kiteboarding Research & Development team.
The Product Designer will work under the Product Manager, and will be responsible for the design and engineering of kiteboarding products. Applicants must be able to take a project from concept to finished product following design objectives outlined by the Product Manager.
The Product Designer will work together with the Research & Development team, Graphic Design department, and manufacturing facilities throughout the development process, to ensure that concepts can be industrialized to achieve function, performance, quality, delivery, and target price.
Job Requirements:
1) Applicant must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or have a minimum of three (3) years of successful product design experience.
2) Mandatory experience in CAD programs (Rhino or Pro/E) and Illustrator.
3) Must be a team player, self starter, creative, well organized, and detail oriented.
4) Must be an active kiteboarder.
5) Must be fluent in English and have technical writing experience.
6) Knowledge of the sporting goods industry is helpful.
