 We all arrived on wednesday, a group of 8 riders and some camera crew! The first day we didn't have any wind, but we still hit the sliders pretty hard behind the jet-ski...That was the first time for me going on sliders behind a jet-ski and i loved it! I didn't want to stop anymore so i went wakeboarding for quite a bit...The next day my back was so soar, because these are different muscles you use than with kiteboarding!At night we partied a bit which was fun, everybody of the hook! Next day we had some wind and rode the sliders, the wind was from a different direction as usual and super gusty, it got quite strong too...It was hard to set-up the sliders right! But we had some good stuff on the flat bar, the small kicker and the whale! The whale is super fun, when you hit it right and with a good amount of speed it launches you so good of the end. I stuck a flat 3 which was fun! Today the wind looks pretty good, and it's my birthday...So let's hope mother nature is with us and gives us the full load!  Take it easy and catcha soon!  |

| Red Bull Kite Punks madness begins... 25-3-2007, La Manga, Spain!! |
 After a good two weeks at home it all starts again, traveling, training and riding hard...Tomorrow morning early i'll fly out to Spain! I'll be on the plane with my friend DAVE of kitecinema.com...The Red Bull Kite Punks is a sick slider and kicker event which we had in Holland last year. I invited some good riders from all over the place and we'll be pushing it to the max...I'll keep ya updated with some pics and movies! The riders that will be there: Aaron Hadlow, Greg Thijsse, Leeshai Miller, Neal Hilder, Denver Coon, Janek Koricky, Rui Meira and me! Take it easy! |
