On the road...
"The day after the event in Venezuela I came straight back home to England.
After a couple of days of chilling and celebrating with my family I was picked up by Lewis Crathern, a mate from the south coast, in his newly pimped out van.
We set off about mid night to the Euro Tunnel which is about 45 minutes from my place, that was trippy, it was like driving on to some space station or something, I had never travelled by train to France before so that was cool.
Also on the trip was Alex from OneClearShot, who was coming to shoot some video and pic’s and also doing some podcasts of the trip.
We set of to France and found a place to sleep near the beach, the next morning was blowing NE so it was perfect Cross shore wind, we kited a place called Wissant on 11m kites, It was a good session and nice to be getting back into the European conditions, I got to nail some pretty powered stuff and almost nailed the sickest ‘switch mobe’ of my life, if I had grabbed the bar it would have actually been better than my normal ones, unfortunately the pop of the kicker was too immense and it ended in a major face slap to the water.
Later that day we headed further along the coast where we stopped in another place just before the Belgium boarder, Bray Dunes. Lewis had another session but I was pretty tired and gave it a miss, he was on his 11 and the conditions were looking good, I saw him Bosching down some decent moves, which was good to see.
We stayed there that night and then hit the road this morning, right now I am in Luxembourg so will carry on to Austria today.

Le jour après la compèt au Vénézuela, je suis rentré direct en Angleterre. Après quelques jours de repos et de fête avec la famille, j'ai été embarqué par Lewis Crathern, un mec de la côte sud. Sur le trajet on a rencontré Alex de chez OneClearShot, qui était là pour faire des vidéos, photos et podcasts.
Arrivé en France, on a dormi près de la plage. Le matin suivant ça soufflait Nord Est, on a kité à Wissant avec des 11m²;c'était une bonne session pour se mettre dans le bain des conditions européennes. J'ai tenté des tricks bien puissants, et le pire 'switch mobe' de ma vie!Si j'avais attrappé la barre je l'aurais bien passé mais là le pop du kicker était tellement énorme que ça a fini par un plat dans l'eau en pleine face...
Les jours suivants on a longé la côte, on s'est arrêté à Bray Dunes juste avant la frontière belge. Lewis a fait une autre session photos mais j'étais assez fatigué. J'étais en 11 et les conditions étaient pas mal.
On est resté là -bas la nuit et on a pris la route le matin. En ce moment je suis au Luxembourg et je vais partir pour l'Autriche aujourd'hui.
