Liquid Force HIFI Hybrid-C kite 2008
Introduction:
With the brand new HIFI, we have achieved higher standards from what you can do with a C style hybrid kite than anyone had ever though possible. For the last 6 months we have worked really hard to get every single detail on this kite just perfect with intensive testing and discussions across continents. From an advanced theoretically aerodynamic approach on designing the profile distribution, frame and canopy and other critical details on the kite, to a heavy trial and error testing and correction phase to get all the small details in place, we have ended up with at kite that is completely worked through and offers the highest standards of the market for 2008. The HIFI will be one of the market leading kites with a pure C kite feeling to it with direct response and capability of insane "Ruben Lenten style kiteloops" and advanced new-school riding in mind. Despite of it´s mid-aspect ratio, this kite has more lift and hangtime than any LF C-style kite has had before, at the same time it feels really comfortable when unhooked for wakestyle moves even when you have enough power for big boosting. This is due to the clever profile distribution and the swept frame and tip concept. As if this was not enough, the HIFI offers a massive wind-range like no other C-style kite from LF, the depower of the kite is comparable to the depower of a 2007 Havoc - e.g. the HIFI 12 has a range from 11-30 knots with no other adjustments than pulling the depower strap when powered. Water relaunch is effortless and can be done classically by pulling the 5th line or by pulling one back line like on a SLE kite (e.g. Havoc or Assault).
The Bar:
The bar is the cleanest 5th line bar ever to reach the market, we have taken what is great from the Havoc 2007 bar and added all the extra needed details and features to make the perfect bar for the HIFI. No 5th line running through the bar and no twisted lines. The massive depowerrange allows the cleanest and most functional bar setup.
The Appeal:
The graphic design of this kite is also a huge leap forward for our C-kites. Everywhere the proto-kite has been out on local beaches for testing, curious riders have twisted their neck looking for the HIFI in action and on the beach. The graphics is different, impressive and appealing and attracting a lot of attention. This product is overall in the high end of the scale when it comes to production quality and graphical details, and other brands will have to think differently when they see this kite. The performance of this kite also draws lots of attention. The HIFI has a wide appeal from Classic or conservative C kite riders to performance demanding SLE style riders.
