First international insurance available for the Pro riders!
The KPWT (Kiteboard Pro World Tour) and the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) are proud to announce they have signed a partnership agreement.
Both organizations will join promotional and communication campaign in mutually beneficial efforts. But this agreement is mostly beneficial to the KPWT Pro riders.
Sandrine Roussos, IKO CEO commented: “Thanks to this partnership, the IKO will provide insurance coverage for the KPWT competitors through its group insurance policy with the Lloyds. This insurance will be valid during the competitions and will cover personal liability and accident.
The pro riders will also have the opportunity to upgrade their insurance to loss of income as well. This benefit is exclusive for pro and semi-pro riders participating in the KPWT tour. "
To this, Mr.Frédéric Gravoille, KPWT promoter, added: “In KPWT we are all very proud of this agreement with the IKO, the International kiteboarding Organization. Medias, sponsors, riders and fans from all over the world are very pleased to know that the leading International Organization (IKO) in the world will be partner with the first world tour “the KPWTâ€.
We are preparing a world class tournament 2008, so we do need professional partners! This is a great opportunity to grow the sport and consolidate the international kiteboard organization.
