Christophe (Flysurf.com team) firsts feeling on the Ozone Instinct Edge 9m² …

The kite was tried on a flat water zone in Port St Louis with 21 knots average wind (low at16 knots), evolution, 72kg, regular material : North Jaime 2005 S 123*35,5/ Ozone Instinct 2006 9m² and 13m², riding : old school.

This kite is similar to a C-shape at utilisation with a very strong depower.

The behaviour is sane and it stays stable at zenith as on wind window side, no bad feedback, it does not move.

It is not a 100% depower (approximately 80%) but the feel of security is very strong.

The kite turns on the tip and does not react like a mosquito.

Thanks to the rears adjustments you can move from an easy kite, tranquil behaviour to a more powerful kite that needs more technique and that can initiate nice jumps without forcing.

This kite can be used by an expert or a beginner depending on the adjustment previously chosen.

Ozone ameliorated the product for 2007 and maintained a ood trade-off at the same time.

Last word : I liked this kite and I am expecting more appropriate conditions (26/28 knots) to explor it further with jumps (and maybe find failures !) »
