La sympathique team rideuse Flexifoil Kirsty Jones remporte le titre de championne du monde KPWT Wave.
Elle était à Essaouira ce week-end où elle a remporter l'épreuve de vagues et remportait par la même occasion le titre mondial de la discipline.
The tour final took place at the world class wave spot of Moulay, near Essaouira in Morocco in classic wind and wave conditions.
Kirsty rode with style on her Flexifoil Ion 3, 8.5m and used a SDF custom made surfboard.
"It’s been an amazing year for me doing the KPWT world tour. Last year I missed out on the title by a small margin and this year I was determined to become world champion – this is my dream come true."

The Morocco event was the culmination of the 10th year of the Kiteboard Pro World Tour which also visited France, Portugal and Brazil during the year.
Kirsty’s plans for 2009 are to return to defend her world title as well as organising another long distance solo kitesurf for charity, and running kite and yoga retreats throughout the year in some of her favourite locations worldwide.
