Takoon Family Tour 2003 – Final report…
The Takoon Family tour ended on Friday 9th May at Sainte Marie de La Mer with a great morning session on a south-easterly wind.
Our 15 day tour of the best spots on the French Mediterranean (from Castel del Fez to Almanarre) with generally good conditions has allowed the Takoon International team riders to really burn it up.
There were cameramen and photographers on hand to immortalise the best moments which should be seen anytime in / on the media…
Herve Boure and Franz Olry, the locals, introduced our young Dominicans (Luciano Gonzales and Joseph Carneiro) to the pleasures of the South of France.
Whereas Tuva Jansen became quite simply the fastest woman kitesurfer in the world with her mark of 33.23 knots at the International Kite speed at Leucate.
The Takoon 2003 video will without a doubt become a reference point for everything kite : on the schedule : Franz in Morocco, Herve in South Africa, Luciano in Cabarete, Tuva and Joseph in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Takoon Family Tour… The whole Takoon family in fact !
