This past sunday 23th of November there was a kiteboarding tournament in Tulum which is one hour and a half away from Cancun Mexico. The competition was incredible, we had the honor to have in our mexican land, the greek pro Dimitri Maramendies.
He obviously ripped like no one else. His skills where awesome and what impressed me was that he was very humbile in his way of being and a great person. I will post this or next week the photos of this competition. I had never kiteboard Tulum till that day and let me tell you that watching the ruins from the see is an amazing expirence because as you know Tulum is an old mayan city where there are mayan ruins. It was geat to have a pro of the category of Dimitri and watch his style. I was told that in February Cancun is going to be the host of a King of the air competition. But I am not sure about this, lets hope it is so we can have riders the size of Dimitri coming here.
Well this is all about the competition, I hope I can post some images soon, this will tell you more than I can.
