"This twin tip originates from the very same board Aaron Hadlow currently rides on the world tour. The AH Pro Model utilises the latest aerospace technologies and materials also used in the snowboard industry, making for a board that is robust yet incredibly lightweight.
With features like carbon flip tips and Duragrind base with Shark Skin finish and a high density PVC top shell, it is truly superior to any other Custom Kiteboard currently produced in the world.
The AH Pro Model is created in association with the Flexifoil team in South Africa, Aaron Hadlow and Ralph Hertweck, the designer of the board. Ralph’s expert knowledge and experience in construction, aerodynamics and finishing technologies is a great asset to Flexifoil. His previous experience includes working for Porsche and Mercedes Benz in Germany, in aerodynamics and hi-tech body construction for the Porsche and Mercedes racing team, as well as manufacturing composite aeroplane components and complete motor gliders.
Key to Ralph’s design is ‘CFD’ or Controlled Flex Dynamic, creating a board that can de-power through controlled flex, even in most over-powered conditions."

So what difference does CFD make over conventional boards?
"In over-powered conditions, the AH Pro Model will give you a smoother ride, improved upwind ability, enable you to edge harder making for higher, slicker jumps and softer landings. With the AH Pro Model you can be more in control of your riding than ever before.
CFD is achieved through pre-cutting the multiple layers of carbon fibre, uni directional and woven e-glass fabrics into a specific pattern before vacuum laminating with Epoxy resin.
The base of the board consists of a high impact resistant yet super lightweight ‘Duragrind’ layer with the revolutionary ‘Shark Skin’ finish that delivers exceptional speed and release. The top shell consists of a high density PVC film. Both shell materials carry the graphics on the inside to protect them from daily wear and tear and help guarantee both long-lasting good looks and a high future value.
The AH Pro Model is available in two sizes - 120 & 130 both boards for the experienced kiteboarders, pro riders and also accommodating for the intermediates. The 120 is a true trickster board designed specifically for Aaron who will be using the board along with the Storm III in competitions this year. The 130 is simply a larger version.
At 2.7kg and 2.8kg respectively, both the 120 and 130 boards are significantly lighter than and just as durable as conventional boards around the 4kg mark."

"Fins: GRP Fins - 70% Glass and 30% Resin & plastic The ridged and impact resistant fins have really been developed to last. Screwed in with M6 stainless steel bolts with high density rubber washers to absorb impact. The 120 will come with 1.75" & the 130 will have 2." The fins are also colour co-ordinated to match the board.
Pads: Multiple layers of expanded EVA foam for maximum comfort and grip. Colour co-ordinated to match the board and featuring the embossed Flexifoil logo.
Straps: These are a very important part of the board so Flexifoil has developed a strap using EVA Foam with different densities for maximum comfort. The whole strap is wrapped in a durable sock to create a snug feel to make your hours on the water even more enjoyable.
Handle: The handle has been developed with both comfort and safety in mind with an EVA wrapping. The Handle is an optional extra.
Kick tips / Flip tips: These tips prevent the nose catching in choppy conditions and at high speed. It also helps Aaron with high speed landing from an unhooked kite loop or handle pass.
