François Pacou, shaper for Wave’s works a lot on waves directional boards.
« I have made a board that is aimed to the pratice of kite as of surf. This board will astisfy quite a few people will to invest in a versatile and performing tool rather than exclusive. Very soon, i twill be on testing in both disciplines.
I will have them produced internally, in the custom way of doing with wooden specific reinforcmentes.
I am satisfied with the idea that kite is aiming towards wave and above all, that the custom is still blowing its know-how !
This year, you’ll see coming a serial board for surfkite. It is made of wooden EPS Topsheet. Nor the model nor the name are fixed yet.
As far as TT, the process of fabrication is totally changed. To work on the flex and more dynamic, the core is now made of wood.
The POP keeps its dress but we can see the finish that is varnished and the ABS rail that is red. Due to the new process, the shape is modified, the V shape is vanishing this year and the tips are rounder. Dimensions remain but their will be one single Pop : the 125/38.
A new board is born : theExentrix 130 /39 ! It is the result of a work done with Richard Boudia. The concept is a convertible board with adjustments on the straps and the fins to make it directional. It is a pur TT, not a mutant.
The Vflex 138 continues its road, evolving towards a wooden core.
The Initial 157/39 is also continued. »
