| New for 2006 is Wipika’s Surfboard. Shaped in Maui & developed with top surf kiters Jose Sanchez & Mauricio Abreu. This board is all about surfing & cruising using the power of a kite. It means you can have fun in all types of surf rather than the need for a trip to Jaws each session. Classic in outline & shape, with a 3 fin design; the board’s size & volume enables the use of a smaller kite, allowing the rider to properly surf with fast bottom turns & hits off the lip without being overpowered. It was essential that the design would eliminate excessive bounce on chop & be able to handle the power of a kite. This was achieved with less rocker than a standard surf board, the rear half of the board having less volume than the front, a fish tail, a slight edge from the tail to the midway section then turning into a classic surf rail & a double concave in the centre section of the board. |

| The board can be ridden with or without straps as you choose & also surfed traditionally without a kite. Size 5’10“(178x47cm) with wood reinforcements, a seamless gelcoat finish. A detachable front footpad in case you want to just surf & various insert positions for the foot straps. |

Hoezo gek geworden? Op een wakeskate horen geen straps. Daarvoor heb je skateschoenen!
Denis had een 2 sterren sessie in Les Blanc Sablons met maar liefst 16 - 22 knots op zijn Takoon Scoop (2002)
