Kite Adventures and Pro Kiteboarder Dimitri Maramenides have teamed up for a once in a lifetime Greek Kite Adventure Tour. Over 10 Days you will explore the most amazing kite spots along the Mediterranean with winds ranging from 15-30 knots throughout the summer. Dimitri will also demo Eclipse Kites and Skywalker kiteboards on the tours.
Our tour begins from the airport in Athens, we bring you immediately to kite heaven. Over the next day we make our way to Paros, an island about 3 1/2 hours away by ferry where we kite on the most pristine crystal blue water. Paros beaches have enough room for 70 kiters so no crowd control needed! By night we travel into town and have a family-style group meal and drinks.
Depending on the wind, we will either take a ferry to Mykonos/Naxos and kite at secret spots so beautiful, you can only dream of water this clear. The downwinders in this region have white houses and colorful doors as a backdrop, it's simply extraordinary. Mykonos is the party capital of Greece, so you can feel free to take advantage of the many bars and open-aired restaurants. You certainly don't want to miss out on the specialty clubs either.
On our way back to Athens before the tour departs, we spend a day sightseeing and visiting the Acropolis. It's the perfect combination of kiting, relaxing and discovering what makes Greece such a wonderful country.
