REVIEW 1
Additional Comments: NOVA 2 – 12M RIDER INTRODUCTION
Firstly, I’m not sponsored, I’ll pretty much ride anything anyone gives me and I have no brand loyalty. I’m definitely not good enough to be sponsored and I don’t get free gear from any retailer. In short, the only chance I have of getting free gear is by winning it in a competition and by that we mean a lucky draw, not skills. This review is from an intermediate perspective. I’m going to try be really critical if I can and nitpick for anything I can find wrong on the kite so don’t take it as negative, rather look at it as being thorough. Now that we have that out the way, on with the review.

... De hele review is nogal zeer uitgebreid en leek me beetje teveel om hier helemaal te copy/pasten, het middengedeelte bespreekt o.a. in detail de tas, accessoires, bar, kite, kite constructie, stuurgedrag, windrange, relaunch, bardruk en instelmogelijkheden ... CONCLUSION
What can you say about a kite that impresses you in every respect? It’s actually really hard to fault this kite in many areas. If you look really hard, there are one or two small niggly things, but they are hardly big enough to spoil an amazing package. Overall, this has to rate as one of the best bow/SLE packages on the market but opinion is always a subjective issue and I suggest you demo before making a decision yourself. Everything about that’s good about the kite seems to match the complaints from last year on all the 2006 bow kites, so it looks like Takoon have been doing some listening to the market and what they want. The performance, range, quality are all top notch and it’s really hard not to like this kite when you ride it. The kite allows for every style of riding and it will appeal to beginners and advanced riders alike and I would recommend this kite to anyone looking at a bow and suggest you add it your try out list. Welcome to the true 2nd generation bows…the wait was worth it. I’m still trying to work out how they get better next year.

REVIEW 2
By deevious @ kiteforum.com:

I've recently bought the Nova2 7 & 12. In short the 7 & 12 are quite different kites as the 7 has front and back lines connected through a pulley, whereas the 12 doesn't have this. Both are very nice kites, but my favorite is definitely the 12. The 7 seems to have a slight delay in it's responses and the depower feeling is not as progressive as on the 12.

I can only compare it to my previous 'bow' kites, which where Globerider Sonic's. The Nova2 12 turns a lot faster than the Sonic 14 and is in general more fun to fly. The Sonic 14 seems to have a slightly better low end, though I still need to fiddle with the different settings on the Nova as they are supposed to have quite an impact on power and depower.

The Sonic 8's depower seemed slightly more progressive than on the Nova2 7, but the Nova will have a higher top end for sure. Also because of the less progressive depower the Nova2 is easier to fly in gusty winds.

As far as quality goes, there's no comparison. The bag is better, the bar is better (quite possibly the best bar out there for bows right now), the construction quality is better. Also, you get one pump on the Nova's, with a non-returning valve to the struts, so you can leave these inflated if you want.
