A big, efficient wing for getting out on light-wind days LIGHT WIND | FREERIDE | INTERMEDIATE The Liteforce is Ozone's light-wind specialist, made to get you foiling on days when most riders stay on the beach. It comes in two sizes: the 6.6m, rated at roughly 7 to 22 knots, and the 7.7m, rated at roughly 5 to 20 knots for an 80kg rider. The 6.6m suits shorter riders, while taller and heavier riders often pick the 7.7m for extra low-end power. To save weight, the frame uses a performance Dacron that is lighter than standard Dacron. The wing is built to get going early and pump efficiently, with low drag and a direct, sporty feel you might not expect from its size. Despite the large area, its compact outline keeps the tips away from the water during transitions, and windows on both sides of the strut give a view downwind. Light-wind freeriding is where it shines; it is not designed as a race or freestyle wing.
