Here is FOnes true response copied from the yahoo groups kitesurf group...
Hi all!
Lets not get confused and enlighten you about whats up now and for 2003!
F-one is distributed in the USA by KiteSurf.com and does not have any employees in the USA. KiteSurf.com Does not have any employees or sales representative in Cape Hatteras.
Back two years ago, KiteSurf.coms owner started GrabHigh, an entity managed by a F-One sponsored rider. This entity was supposed to develop a local activity of clinics and camps and to promote KiteSurf.coms products through demos and other events. After more than 2 years of inactivity and after investing in excess of $120,000 in the operation the decision was taken in September 2002 to close GrabHigh.
During those two years, KiteSurf.com was forced to invest into GrabHigh to try to maintain that structure in hope of some development, but after reaching heavy operations losses for the second consecutive year without any trending changes, the corporation has been dissolved. The lack of activity as well as responsiveness from the only manager/employee surely resulted in such decision.
As for 2002, F-One has an extensive line of products in both boards and kites and will even be more complete these coming seasons:
In 2002, we have: - the Mach1 Kites (for advanced and extreme riders) - and the Magic Kites geared toward the beginners to intermediate riders.
Boardwise: the Mad Fly TT Boards come in 4 different sizes: TT142, TT160, TT 168 and TT175. And the directional-construction TT: The TT180 plus the classic directional Freestyle Boards.
For 2003, F-One has an extensive kite line featuring:
- the Mach2 (People are already talking about them as the first samples were recently released). They will be available in the US in 3 weeks. Check out this video featuring the new Mach 2: http://www.ifrance.com/gegefly/mach2.wmv - the Dream (the intermediate line) (March 2003) - the Magic2 (for beginners to intermediate). (March 2003) In addition, F-One is also coming out with the Source - a kite specially designed for schools.
The line of boards (available Spring 2003) includes 7 twin tips ranging from TT160 to TT138 and 4 sizes from TT160 to TT180.
