Here’s a good tip from windsurfer-kitesurfer-surfer-traveller extraordinaire, Stephane Etienne, who we met at the Paris Boat show…
He’s a year-round traveller and has found a way of virtually guaranteeing that his kitesurf gear is never refused at airline check in.
All you have to say is that it’s your camping gear !!!
You pull out a bit of ripstop and the assistant is bound to think that it’s the only roof you’ll have over your head, how can they refuse !!!
