Kite Surf Pro World Tour releases dates

The Kite Surf Pro (KSP) Professional Wave Tour today released its tour schedule today, comprised of a three-event series, pitting the world’s best kite surfers against three of the most legendary waves on the planet in jaw-dropping locations across the globe.
The first event on the calendar takes place on the stunning tropical island paradise of Mauritius, from September 23 to October 2. During the fall season, the reef at Le Morne on the southwest tip of the island (where the competition is to be held) is regularly battered by long-period south swells, producing lengthy peeling walls with consistently strong side/side-offshore winds.
The tour will then move across the globe to the South American continent to take advantage of yet another world-class venue, as a steady flow of south swells march up the coast of Peru. From October 19 to 28 the KSP will hold the second stop of the tour in Pacasmayo, known for it’s perfect left-hand point break that arguably dishes up some of the longest and most perfect kiteable waves on the planet.
As winter grips the northern hemisphere and large North Atlantic swells take aim at the tiny island of Sal in the Cape Verde archipelago (aka Cabo Verde) off the northwest coast of Africa. The powerful and hollow right-hand, rocky point breaks of Sal will be the perfect venue for the KSP final from December 2 to 12.
The tour dates in detail:
Stop 1: Le Morne, Mauritius — Sept. 23 to Oct. 2
Stop 2: Pacasmayo, Peru — Oct. 19 to 28
Stop 3: Sal, Cabo Verde — Dec. 2 to 12
Entry to the KSP events is limited to the top 8 ranked riders from the 2010 and 2011 world rankings (for 2011: one month before the first KSP event).
