No sooner was Walvis Bay over than the committed speed freaks, Taub and Pimont to name but two pitched up in sunny Weymouth, UK, for another traditional annual wind/ water speed trials event, the celebrated Weymouth Speed Week, from October 4th to 10th!
Just 4 kitesurfers participated in the end but among them, one of the legends of the sport, one Corey Roeseler himself, making a special trip over for the event. Nothing special to report on the first 4 days (best times not exceeding 35 knots), but worth noting that Roeseler is pushing the windsurfers hard, placing regularly in the top 3 of the overall daily standings…
