Le Morne, Mauritius – September 6, 2012: Contest organizers spent the afternoon making final preparations for what promises to be a spectacular start to the KSP world championship event at One Eye. Riders eagerly anticipate the start of competition tomorrow morning as a large-scale ground swell fills in overnight.
KSP rider and vice-president Sky Solbach says: “We’ve all been carefully watching the forecast over the past week or so, monitoring the progress of this next swell. We know it’s going to be good size, but we won’t really know just how big it will be until we see it in the morning. Everyone is super excited and hoping the contest can get underway in great conditions.”
The first call of the day has been scheduled for 10AM local time tomorrow when KSP officials will give their assessment of the conditions at One Eye and announce the first possible start of the event.
The KSP would like to thank the sponsors of the One Eye Kite Surf Pro, including MTPA, St. Regis Hotel, Monster and North Kiteboarding as well as event partners Emtel, Ion, Adamas, Club Mistral, Le Gall, Enso, Afix, GoPro, Multibox, Habit, Silent Partners, Hydro Energy, St Aubin and media partners Radio One, L’ Express and Equipe.
Suzanne haar eerste golf in de heat tegen Kristy
was echt dik in de pocket! Heel mooi, erg vet gedaan!
Jalou ging met recht als een speer, met veel risico en zeer critisch
heel vet!
En het ziet er ook naar uit dat het zich heeft uitbetaald,
want Jalou is door!
