Description: Velocity Games would like to take a moment and clarify some things that are going on for the 2005 Velocity Games. First of all the website is up and running and it is time to start registration. The prize money is posted, (http://www.velocitygames.us/compete/kite.asp) and we are sure everyone will be very happy, well maybe not everyone but atleast 33 of the competitors will be. Velocity Games has evened out the money for 2005 making the top 3 finishers in both pro mens and womens equal, this is because we feel the girls work just as hard as the men do out on the water. Second, the structure and organization is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THIS YEAR. Unlike years past (where there was just one to three people) there is a board of 10 members that run the Velocity Games ranging from local business owners, media personnel, and other community leaders. This is not about one person anymore, the board has taken several matters into its own hands and promises that this year will be very much a great success and wonderful time. We encourage any and all to come and enjoy the warm weather and winds of South Texas.
