Manu Bertin cruised away yesterday, Monday 23rd. Departure from Cap Camarat (Var) aiming for Calvi (Corsica).
The 1st attempt to depart was postponed from 2pm to 4pm because of an irregular wind preventing to reach West wind blowing off shore.
At 4pm, Manu Bertin and Rubson team could finally cruise away : « That was Waterloo ! Although we were expecting some bad sea… I can’t remember navigating so long and in such bad conditions : a total wild sea, mixed up with a strengthening wind above 30 to 35 knots, incredible colours a an incredible swell. Compared to what we had today, the channel is nearly a joke… »
