Event Masters is happy to announce that the second Maui Kite Festival will be held in summer 2005.
The 2005 Maui Kite Festival will be held at Kanaha Beach Park (near the Canoe Hale) and is strongly focused on kids, juniors and up-and-coming Kiters but also will have a pro division (Men’s and Women’s), so the kids can get together with their “idolsâ€.
Kiteboarders Pros and stars such as Max Bo, Lou Wainman and Mauricio Abreu give us the honour as judges and the Maui community is stoked about the event.
The 1st Maui Kite Festival was already a great success! Competitors from Hawaii, California, Japan, New Zealand, Norway and France did showcast their kite surfing talents, witnessed by over a thousand spectators September 4th-6th 2003.
2005 the Maui Kite Festival will be back with more action on and off the water, June 23th-25th, at Kanaha Beach Park, Maui, HI.
We will keep you updated in the future and look forward to seeing you at the beach in June.
