Hi all. Posted this news under a previous thread too but thought I would start a new thread with a better topic title...I saw this kite on the beach on Friday.

These pictures were taken on Friday. They show a 2006 OCEAN RODEO 12m DIABLO prototype.
I spoke with Ross from Ocean Rodeo about the kite when he came in. He told me about the new name for their latest kite designed for really high end kiters. Apparently the performance is much greater with about as much lift as the BRONCO but much faster turning. I asked him how the hell that was possible and he just smiled...damn guy.
Seriously though, I watched his session the kite looks sick! Obviously this version is pretty tame colours and graphics but Ross was saying that they intend to make the production version a darker colour with graphics to match the DIABLO name. Got me stoked for sure.
I managed to squeeze some information from him on the 2006 BRONCO too...though no pictures. He said that colours and graphics would be changed for ‘06 and that the 16, 18 and 21 would be made to turn faster but that otherwise they are very happy with the performance and reviews of the BRONCO and don"t intend to change it much.
Ross was saying that dealers can order for their sample use and tech riders the new 06 DIABLO and 06 BRONCO kites now until the middle of August and that the rest of us can get them from the shops by December…I am looking forward to seeing the new DIABLO in proper colours and graphics!

dit zijn ook onwijs strakke kites.. ik ben begonnen met een ocean rodeo... 2004 !! was echt super.. alleen de bar toen de tijd was onwijs klote dus kreeg er een andere bar bij.. ben benieuwd hoe ze dat nu hebben...

ik vaar nu nog met een Bronco 16 2003:0 maar ben er naast mijn Nitro 12 2004 nog erg tevreden over _/-\o_
