It is a well-known fact that America is full of idiots. All-you-can-eat buffets, oversized cars, and a Wal-Mart on every corner, but we could always use a few more idiots, right? Enter the teen-agers.
For three weeks this summer, an outside influence showed up in Hood River, Oregon to transform The Gorge from down home American style to high energy from across the Atlantic. Leeshai Miller, Kevin Langeree, Rui Meira, and Janek Korycki represented the crew from Europe/Israel, Bruna Kajiya from Brazil, and Madison Van Heurck from the Virgin Islands all joined me, a down home American, for some quality time in the land of McDonalds.
