Thanks to the partnership with QXI International, ASV Performance has contributed to the biggest breakthrough in the kiteboarding industry by supplying each of the seven VO65 Ocean Racing Yachts participating in the current Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2105 Edition with 'GHQ (Get Home Quicker) Rescue Kites'. 

As the designer and manufacture partner in the QXI International run of 'GHQ Rescue Kite', Simone and ASV together with Joey Pasquale have worked for several months to provide the VO65 fleet with a rescue kite system that can be deployed in case of emergency (loss of mast or loss of control of swing keel), improving safety for the teams involved in one of toughest and greatest races in the world, and a way to 'Get Home Quicker'.
