This bar set-up uses the chicken-loop from the Waroo trainer bar, attached to a standard depower rope and trim strap set up as seen on the swivel bar above. The chicken loop comes equipped with a quick release for complete kite release and also a ‘handle-pass leash’ ring attachment for connecting the chicken-loop to a harness mounted leash. Included in the set are two full length rear flying lines, one full length 5th line and two mid length front flying lines with attach to an extension rope from the top of the trim strap. This line set gives any rider who wishes to use a 5th line for greater control of their depower and relaunch. It is equipped with dual rear line ‘oh-shit’ handles, for use with or without the standard safety leash.

This bar represents the ‘entry level’ Kiteboarding bar. It is equipped with dual rear line ‘oh-shit’ handles, for use with or without the standard safety leash, (pictured below). It has a high load, stainless steel Ronstan swivel, positioned above the chicken-loop in line with the depower rope. The chicken loop comes equipped with a quick release for complete kite release and also a ‘handle-pass leash’ ring attachment for connecting the chicken-loop to a harness mounted leash.

Waroo Trainer/School bar 2006:

45cm Bar with 18m coloured lines, supplied as a four line set.

This bar is designed specifically to be used with the smaller size Waroo’s, 3m and 5m. The bar is a simplified version of the full Waroo set-up, designed to be easy to understand and offer the greatest built in safety to maximise teaching time and accelerate the learning process for beginners. Full depower is achieved by simply releasing the bar. The chicken loop quick release is activated by pulling the red tab towards the rider, this totally releases the kite and is only to be used as a last resort. If the optional wrist leash (shown attached) is used with the bar, activating the chicken loop release will cause the kite to flag completely from one rear flying line.
