Ozone komt binnenkort uit met hun versie Flat kite!
Ozone zeer bekend van buggy,paragliding en snowkiting en is al een paar maanden aan t ontwikkelen hier in Nam met als uitkomst een Flat kite, 5 lijnen,no bridles en anti invert lijn!
De 5e lijn is geen safety lijn maar een ondersteunings lijn die als jeje strap aantrekt ook nog s de kite helpt depoweren!
Bar pressure no problem en kwaliteit is zoals de meest mensen gewend zijn van Ozone!! van de stabielste kites die ik gezien heb tot nu toe(zonder lullen)
Kite stuurt snel,direkt en is zeer efficient!
Op t moment is de 11 in productie en zijn de kleinere maten nog in proto fase!
Maten worden 15,13,11,9,7
Hun doel is om t allemaal wat makkelijker en simpeler te maken met genoeg performance!

Anti invertlijn: voorkomt dat je kite niet binneste buiten klapt en door midden scheurd.

The Instinct is close to being finished with the 11m kite now finished, just some small details and final printing to check
We plan to have this size ready to ship within 10 days as pre-full production samples so you can start to get the momentum behind the Instinct and generate interest.
Details like the bar and our new chickenloop are not available now, the Instinct will only work with an Instinct bar. We will send out initial demos with a temporary chickenloop while we wait for our new moulded chicken loop safety release that passes the EU standards
The Instinct is an incredible kite and even though it may look like an average "Flat" or "Bow" kite, the Instinct is very original.
The kitesurf schools here say it has revolutionized their teaching methods and with students learning 50% quicker on average. Every student that has so far tried the Instinct has placed an order and is in the rapidly growing order list I"m gathering!

For starters Heres some facts:
The Instinct will be available in 7, 9, 11, 13 m sizes
The pics we have sent out are of the final 11M proto, it has no graphics and is definately a proto. More pics soon.
The Instinct sizing and power must be explained in detail to customers. For example I can ride the 11m when other kiters are only just powered on a 14-16m regular tube kite. The Instinct has serious power! (and huge depower) and can not be compared size for size to a standard c-shape inflatable .
A wind range chart and weight of different riders showing which kites to buy will also be sent next week
Outlined below are some of the very important differences and why the Instinct is a winning design
No pulleys on the bar or in the kite at all - We have managed to design the kite to not need them (Pulleys and bridles tangle with the tip and cause many issues with other brands current flat kite designs)
No fiberglass battens in the kite at all - No hassles for packing/travel or damage resulting from impact like happens on kites using battens (some people on the forums thought it looked like our kite has battens in the tip>> It is only black Dacron re-enforcement tape - NO BATTENS on our kite)
The Instinct has a 5th line but this is part of the trim/support system - not used as a safety system
The Instinct has 5 lines and attaches like any other standard C-Kite inflatable
No leading edge bridles like the other brands "Flat" or "Bow" inflatable . We have a Y -bridle that splits to the center of the leading edge from the 5th support/trim line (like other regular tube kites)
Innovative trim system - a graduating trim ratio between the 2 power lines and the 5th support/Trim line
Incredible wind range - 82 kg and on standard type twin tip 132x 39 we have accurately measured riding with the 11m from 10 - 30+ knots. The low wind range of the Instinct is truly incredible. I am riding with the Instinct 11m when other riders have same power or less on 14-16m regular C-Kite inflatable. The Instinct is very efficient
The bar has very light pressure - Perfect for all riders
The safety system works by letting go of the bar or pushing away the bar to the stopper for total depower. The bar when fully de-powered is still within arms reach even by tiny armed people (other brands the bar has to disappear from reach for the system to work
Incredible upwind performance - beginners can ride the Instinct easily and stay upwind and have 100% confidence in the depower system
Innovative design/invention to stop the kite inverting on the water when crashed. The instinct has a unique automatic relaunch feature, but is not on this kite in pictures attached (All brands flat kites have a serious invert problem). The Instinct has no invert issues and literally relaunches itself towards the edge of the window no matter how or where it is crashed into the water and waits at edge of wind window even if it falls onto its back
Rides un hooked without issues for the expert rider - its standard C-Kite attachment means expert riders and die-hard C-shape inflatable riders love the Instinct

There are many other points but the main performance comes from the riders that have tried our protos. They all report a super easy kite that makes riding feel safe , comfortable and allows them to concentrate on their riding style and not have to worry about the kite. We have been working with a Kitesurf school here in Vietnam that have been very valuable in helping us test the Instinct with beginners throughout the past 4 months.
The Instinct is a kite that seems to satisfy everyone from experts to beginners and kitesurf schools. It enables beginners to ride upwind quicker which results in the beginner deciding to buy equipment and seriously take up the sport with a performance kite that they will never have to change or upgrade as they improve their skills
I will post more information and pictures as they come to hand, but this kite looks to be truly a new and innovative, likely spurred on by the release of the other flat kite designs with their ultra user friendly features.
