We want to warmly welcome Anke Brandt & Jannis Maus to the FLYSURFER Kiteboarding family.
Anke came from a sailing background and started kitesurfing in 2009 and is now Guinness World Record holder for longest distance kitesurfed by a female (250km in 12 hours) and is scoring podiums in freestyle and long distance races regularly. Her goals for the near future is a new World Record for the longest kitesurf journey and with that breaking her own previous record. Furthermore she also supports and raises awareness for a charity organization called ‘Wings for life’ which tries to cure spinal cord injury.
Jannis has been making a name for himself fast these last couple of years and in 2016 he became German Kite Racing Champion, Formula Kite World Champion in the tube kite class, placed 2nd in the Red Bull Coast 2 Coast long distance race and got voted most talented athlete by the German Kitesurf Association in 2015, quite some achievements! Jannis is open and friendly, has a very strong ambition, is super focused on his study and extremely passionate about his sporting goals.
We think both Anke & Jannis are a perfect fit in the FLYSURFER team.
