Esther Oud gaat werkelijk de wereld rond
Egypte, Australie, Dominicaanse en dan nu weer Zuid Afrika... dat ziet er uit als een behoorlijke training
gaat ze dan dit jaar mee doen met het NK, gaan we haar nog op ander wedstrijd gebied zien?
In elk geval een leuk verhaal van Sud Afrika!

My first kitesurfholdiday ever... I didn't have to teach kitesurfing this time and was able to kitesurf all day! It was great!
We flew with South-African Airways from Amsterdam to Capetown. (never ever go with that airline!!) The flight itself was perfect, checking in with wind/kite/surfgear was a nightmare. Stephan picked us up from the airport (thanx Steef) and after a powernap we drove to Langebaan for my first South-African kitesession. I especially brought the Rocketfish waveboard with me, but I found out that Langebaan was a flat water spot. So I put my Jaime Pro together and did some freestyle.
Capetown by night Table mountain The following days we stayed around Capetown. I only used my 7 meter Rebel (yep, it is quite windy in Capetown) and the Rocketfish which I fell in love with this trip. It took some time to get used to strong winds and bigger waves, but I could go on and on for hours on my new board. It was so cool! We did fantastic downwinders in 25 knots with overhead high waves. Kitebeach to Derdesteen was the favourite route. |

p.s volgens mij was je gewoon monsterlijk genomen door de golven daar
niks out off focus!

wazzaah had een 5 sterren sessie in Terschelling Groene Strand met maar liefst 10 - 11 knots op zijn Vari Condor (2013)
stefkiter had een 4 sterren sessie in Borssele met maar liefst 25 - 35 knots op zijn Core GTS (2011)
