Even serieus alsjeblieft!! Ik vindt het echt aardige gasten...Maar dit gaat toch nergens over, die tricks zijn zoooo lelijk allemaal! Ik zeg niet dat ik altijd alles even mooi doe maar als je daar woont dan is dit troep en snap je de definitie van de sport niet! Ze hebben daar perfecte wind en laten de sport er zo lelijk uitzien! Hou ik echt niet van...Ik snap daarom ook niet dat 1 van deze dudes die pkra daar gewonnen geeft! Al doet ie honderd handlepasses in 1 jump ziet Aaron of wie dan ook z'n KGB er vetter uit! En geef die gasten een CCCCCCC kite want die BOWS zijn troep voor Freestyle...
For sure Ruben, you are right you are the only one in the world that knows how to kite, all the the other kids that ride are garbage and ugly. You set the trends you are the man...

Alex did beat Aaron 2 years in a row, and Ariel did win the PKRA on a BOW, nothing will ever change that. I know you are a local kiteboarding hero,... it seems to affect your perception of reality... C shape kites are history this year 99% of all kites sold are either SLE, Hybrid or Bow kites..... Soon your sponsor will switch and you will have to eat your words.
Now I know I will get a lot of shit trhown at me since this is your home town forum, but I do not care these Dominican kids eat sleep and drink kiteboarding are as pure and unpoluted by media as they come. For sure they do not give crap what the trend is or if you find it ugly or not... they just go hard day after day ...
Anyway I will translate your comments in Spanish so they know what you had to say about their kiteboarding skills.

@ Yaman, Ruben can just have a opinion right?, just like everybody else, just like you..... why burn him down?
Or is it , because he is a pro boarder that he cannot or may not criticise things he sees. Believe me he knows they rock, but i guess the top PKRA-riders are way ahead in focussing in a very special degree of difficulty in tricks , a difficulty i do not even see or understand anymore nor do the pkra-judges.
But to proof your boys are better than Ruben or Aaron or Kevin, instead of only a one time home event, let them compete in the whole TOUR !
If they win in other PKRA -stops, then you have a legitimate reason to burn Ruben down, just because of his opinion.

dit is eigenlijk de discussie die op elke wedstrijd (PKRA) is...
Denk ook dat dit alleen geldt op het gebied van wedstrijden. Als iemand lekker vaart en alles land met zijn kite op 12 uur en met een BOW bijvoorbeeld dan is dat natuurlijk helemaal geweldig voor hem/haar! Ook al ziet het er niet uit, maar als hij/zij lol heeft dan is dat helemaal super.
Het is anders tijdens wedstrijden. Hier word gekeken naar Stijl, Power en nog een aantal aspecten. Ik vind persoonlijk de stijl van de Cabarete locals enorm lelijk, gebungel en dan nog net de bar passen en dan net landen. Voor freeriden heel leuk om te zien, maar ga dit niet hoog mee laten tellen tijdens een wedstrijd. De kites dat maakt niet zoveel uit, Petr Tyushkevich vaart ook super gepowered met zijn Bow Cab's. Het is veel makkelijker om je dingen te doen met je kite hoog, maar tijdens een wedstrijd moet die kite laag.
Zooo...ik ga zo even lekker genieten op workum! Met me kite laag! hahaha!!!
BasKoole had een 3 sterren sessie in Big Bay met maar liefst 24 - 28 knots op zijn Airush Razor (2011)
Neemt niet weg dat ze flink beulen he ! Ik zal het ze zekers never nooit na doen, en veel andere pro -riders ook niet.
Heb trouwens nog never een triple HP gezien van anderen...

I'm in no way saying that my kids are better, I had the utmost respect for the work you and Ruben do. Your skills with the camera and Ruben aggressive style have raised my hair several times.
I have to say that I did loose some respect for Ruben after his remark but his next radical move-video will repair that in a second.
What I wanted to get across is that no rider sets a particular trend not even Kevin, Aaron or Ruben. Most of these tricks are of limits to most riders and only the few lucky riders that have the time and support to learn them.
I put videos and pictures online of these kids for the same reason you do, help promote the sport and for sure at the same time hope to get the kids and what we do in Cabarete known.
I do not want to get in to a big bow or style discussion, I just felt that I needed to reply strongly to Rubens comments they did upset me.
About the PKRA, we do not have the funds to do a whole PKRA tour our R&D and team eat up all the extra $$. BTW we never said they were better riders ;), I only mentioned that Alex did beat Aaron 2 years in a row. And when you talk complexity of the tricks, I will show you some soon enough when I het this video thing equipment thing undercontrol...
I will never have the video skill you have, but I plan to be swimming and shooting video from the water. My doctor told me I needed more exercise ;)
