FLYSURFER impressively showed the potential of their self inflatable kite system at the “Haengt Ihn Hoeher†(Hangtime) competition which was held in Cuxhaven, Germany last weekend.
With 62 participants the “Haengt Ihn Hoeher†competition listed most riders in a hangtime competition in 2007. Each rider had only one attempt per heat to get his biggest jump since the time was limited due to tides and of course due to the huge amount of competitors.
The atmosphere on this event was a pure pleasure. The winds were good, the spot was well chosen and the event – crew did its best to satisfy all: Riders, spectators and sponsors.
A professional camera crew filmed the entire event and a free DVD will be produced.

Our FLYSURFER founder and constructor Armin Harich won the competition with 6.14 seconds of hangtime. He did a big jump with a kiteloop in the end causing him an extra lift. Flysurfer teamrider Sebastian Bubmann came in 2nd with 5.82 seconds of hangtime. Ron Reimers (usually not on FLYSURFER), got 3rd place doing an unhooked 6x rotation with 5.61 seconds of hangtime. FLYSURFER local team rider Sven Schade flew to the 4th place with 5.57 seconds. For full results click here

FLYSURFER will raffle the original SilverArrow2 which helped the first 4 riders to achieve their success during this hangtime competition. All money out of this raffle will be donated 100% to charity!
