Zat net met een maat van me te praten die 3 weken naar zuid afrika is geweest.
Hij heeft echt een leuk verslag geschreven op het forum van monkey kites. Ik vond het zeker de moeite waard om het veslag te lezen en denk dat het wel een leuk tijd verdrijf is in deze koude dagen.
Er zijn meerdere spots bezocht en een klein verslagje daar over en vooral de Do's en donts zijn best leuk beschreven.

hey there everyone.
i just came back from an awesome trip to cape town south africa.
its been epic 3 weeks with loads of kiting, a hell lot of party
and even more fun with mates! i will try to let you know
what hapened during this trip by giving my best to write this article
ok so here we go.
its been my first time ive been to south africa.
so all was pretty new for me. one thing was clear from the beginning:
i had to get a car! been searching the web
but still i thought that there must be a
car rental that is cheaper then all those fenzy nice looking car rentals.
so i droped my question in a south african kitesurfforum.
i got directed to "bestbeatle".
checked out their homepage and so bestbeatle it should be!
4 weeks beatle rental including a 500km radius free repair service
around cape town (24h!!!), all km included, full injurance, 2nd driver
and roofrack = 230€
haha what a price! that would be 115€ for each, me and my mate.
i arrived on the 27th of november early in the morning
at the airport in cape town. the guy from
bestbeatle was already waiting for me to take me to the carrental
to hand over the keys of the car.
damn when i saw that "car"
i knew why there was a 24/7 breakdownservice

i dont really speak any dutch but i think i understod some of your comments :)
first off i would like to thank you for the positive feedback (if it was positive ;-) ).
we had an awesome time down in SA. its hard to put all the memories into a text, but i tried as good as i could and i think maybe you could read it.
about the picture with "naked zander":
we went to the mexican kitchen that evening. a restaurant with hot food. they even had a souce that had 21 out of 10 points on the scale 
homemade tequila and all that stuff. came home totally wracked. in the restaurant we made a a bat. whoever falls asleep first will sleep on the public coutch-naked. zander fell asleep first ;-) :D
about the kite:
the kite on the pictures is the 2008 monkeykites griffin. just to solve that ;-) if you wish 4 more infos on the kites, you can email me or check it on the monkeykites forum. i think this topic should stay clean from any brand pimping or stuff like that ;-)

hey, i could put you in my boardbag when i go to sydney in 4 days. how much do you weigh? unfortunatly i got a limit of 20kg :D sorry man!
yes, hate the winter in europe so im gonna escape again and hit OZ for 2,5 months to have a nice time and get a piece of kitedevelopement :) sooo looking forward. oh and i have to book the tickets for south africa next year!

not so windy in sydney but maybe i can be able to post a new tripreport ( i learned what it means in dutch: verslag?) in march then :)
