The clear finish to the wood core is to designate this Sol as the Limited Edition; Plant a Tree. As the name suggests, for every 2008 Sol 134 Limited Edition sold, Naish will plant a tree. This will not only grow more wood than is needed for production of Naish wood-core boards in the future, but is doing the right thing to preserve the balance of the environment in which we enjoy our wind-powered watersport.
