Arriving in paradise. 22/5/2008, Virgin Islands I flew on a standby ticket from Amsterdam to Atlanta. At the checkin I had to pay a bit for my boardbag, but it was all good. When I got my seat at the gate it was 5F and that means business class for 9 hours. It was my first experience with this class and I can get used to it . I had to overnight in ATL and the next morning I went to checkin and I knew that I had a slim chance to make the flight as it was full. I rerouted through San Juan, Puerto Rico. I got there and somebody was waiting for me with a small plane that was going to St. Thomas. About 45 min. later we landed on the airport. I went to pickup my bags and got situated. The next day we just chilled a bit in the morning and then went surfing for a few hours. it was a nice session with head high waves. meer... @ www.sanderlenten.com
