Working with experts from the University and the management team at Flexifoil, you will be responsible for analysing current strengths and weaknesses in the supply chain then designing and implementing a ‘lean’ strategy and business model for the company.
A graduate in Engineering, you’ll ideally have at least 2-3 years experience within a manufacturing business, with an understanding of small or medium-sized companies, and have a track record of achieving results. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, have an ability to work autonomously and be comfortable working in an overseas environment. You will also have experience of non-recreational international travel.
Your role will be to analyse markets, develop and help to execute a market led strategy and campaign. This will involve negotiating with distributors and dealers in a number of key overseas markets, including the USA, South Africa and Australia.
With a good degree in business or marketing, you’ll have some experience of marketing research and market assessment with an ability to work autonomously and create solutions to marketing challenges. You will be comfortable working in an overseas environment and will have experience of non-recreational international travel. You will be able to show you can take the lead on a project and progress it to a successful conclusion and have a strong team orientation.
Both posts will involve international long-haul travel.
